"Miss Fashion Whore is a blog about fashion, shopping and life. I have always had a passion/borderline addiction to shopping. First designer bag= Chloe Paddington. Age 16. Bought on Daddy’s credit card. He still doesn’t know!

Not much has changed since then. After shopping trips I still hide my bounty of purchases in the car until my boyfriend goes out and I can sneak them into the closet! And it is true, I did search ’selling a kidney’ on google when I just HAD to get that nearly sold out pair of Louboutins.

But now I’m a bit older and a bit more sensible. I want to share my new finds, fashion ideas, must haves and wardrobe lusts with anyone else who is truly a fashion whore and can’t get enough of it!"

Free Rice

We found an amazing website Free Rice which allows you to answer questions varying from Art and English Language to Maths and Geography. Your correct answers allow you to donate grains of rice to the United Nations Food program. So not only will you become wise and knowledgable and know things like the word 'scintillation' means sparkling (you can astound people with your new found vocabulary!) but you'll be helping end world hunger...get learning.

Field Day loved our wellies

One of our Urban Spark lovers took one of only 6 in the world test designs to London at the weekend to field day, a one day festival in London. The response was epic. Unfortunately having these designs only in sample form it won’t be available till next summer for customer purchase, but you can already register for Glastonbury maybe we should put a register for these willies and if the min order is met we will all be able to enjoy for the festival season. May be I will start a face book group in a few weeks. Reckon 2000 people would want them?

Brighton Pride

Despite feeling a little delicate from the night before, Urban Spark hit up Brighton Pride at the weekend! We loved it despite the rain, especially enjoyed the man dressed as a strawberrry! Came back with a hell of a lot of whistles, balloons and pens...it's all about the freebies.!x

Last week I went on work experience with Urban Spark.
It was a great experience for me to learn how the process of a company works, especially one that is starting from scratch and is working its way up.
I’m a design student studying Product Design at the University of Huddersfield, so it was an opportunity for me to understand the process and to learn what the work environment would be like within a design company.
Urban Spark is a trendy, unique and has an upbeat attitude towards their designs as well as their professional attention to the company.
When I was there for the week, they were getting ready to launch and go live on the website for orders to be placed. My job was to unpack the jewellery and re wrap them into the new Urban Sparks packaging. It was repetitive and sometimes boring but only when Chris Moyles wasn’t on the radio to keep me laughing.
It was a good experience and I thank them for that. I know they will do well with their designs and the many more to come :o)

She summed up her style in a few words: Loves dark blues greys greens and blacks, naturally inspired with small gems and metal touches to make that eccentric touch.
