Telling tales....Liberty Prints, Plinths and all

Urban Spark had a trip down to the 'telling tales' free exhibition at the V&A. Being fans of all things whimsical we had to have a look see. Bath boats made from wood, cupboards that most definately led to Narnia, and a fox with maggot filled ears....

We were also delighted to see Tord Boontje intricate garland lanterns making appearances all throughout the exhibition, so beautiful!

Finally got to visit the Liberty 'Prints Charming' exhibition. There was much to be desired, particularly the Grayson Perry scarves that were on show. Unfortunately both us Nikkis had to part emty handed, not even a Liberty key ring to show for ourselves - £14 no ta! Squint had some of their furniture on show, it has again inspired me to create my own patchworked floral mirror - on the to do list.
